Prado School
A nursery and primary school with green roofs the children can see from their classrooms.
We built the school next to the old one while it stayed open. The work was phased so access was never cut, and the noisy trades were concentrated in July and August.
The exposed-concrete stairs double as seating: on rainy breaks the lobby becomes a small theatre.
