Ocre Housing
A housing block with a sawtooth facade that turns every window towards the mountains.
The street faces west, but the views lie to the north. The ochre sawtooth panels turn every window towards the Gredos mountains and shade it from the afternoon sun.
The colour comes from the aggregate in the concrete itself, from a local quarry: there is no paint to maintain.
